5 Benefits Of Choosing An All In One Wedding Venue

Much can be said to promote all in one wedding venues and argue for why they are better than going the DIY route with an “à la carte” wedding.

(By the way, an “à la carte” is one in which you arrange everything all by yourself.)

And you probably think we’re about to launch into a whole big thing about how and why that’s the case.

Well, you’re absolutely right, that’s exactly what we’re about to do.

What can we say, we like to keep things simple and get straight to the point.

So, without further ado, let’s dive into it.

1. What Exactly Are All In One Wedding Venues

In a nutshell, they’re venues that also offer a wide range of services that are all bundled together into a single package.

That package, of course, is your booking.

By reserving one of these venues, you also reserve any of the services that come with that reservation.

However, as with any kind of agreement involving money, be sure to get everything in writing.

That means a detailed explanation of all services that are included, as well as an itemized bill to ensure that you won’t be charged for some extra thing that is not technically part of the package.

Honestly, most venues won’t try to get one over on you like that, but this is an imperfect world, and some still will.

So protect yourself by getting everything detailed and in writing before you sign or pay for anything.

2. Ceremony and Reception In The Same Place

This may not always apply at every venue, but it’s a game-changer if it does at yours.

At many, if not most, all in one wedding venues, you will be able to host both your wedding ceremony and reception within the same venue.

That means you don’t have to spend extra time or money reserving a separate spot on the other side of town that you and everyone else has to drive to

It means fewer logistical headaches and most likely a lower bill, as you only need one caterer for both, and that caterer doesn’t need to go anywhere.

Likewise, you’ll probably want to stay put after your ceremony and just enjoy yourself and the fact that you’re officially married now (!!!).

3. Wedding Amenities Included

Whether it’s technically correct or not, we’re going to include decor and furniture rentals in this section.

In addition to bathrooms, changing rooms, and all that other stuff you’ll need, you also want to confirm that your venue will be providing furniture and decor.

And if such things are being provided, you’ll want to get an itemized list and description of all of it before you agree to sign or pay for anything.

Also, verify the condition of all items before signing.

You can do that with photographs that you take and send to the owner so that you both have identical copies.

This isn’t necessarily because you suspect that the venue manager is up to no good. It’s mainly to protect yourself from liability.

If something gets lost, broken, or damaged during your wedding, you don’t want there to be any confusion regarding what was and was not already in good condition before your wedding started.

Now, we’re not lawyers, and this is not legal advice, so you may want to consult one for that.

However, at a minimum, you should still either get an insurance policy yourself or ask if the venue offers one

4. Staff Provided

The answer will very often be ‘Yes,’ so don’t forget to ask about it.

At the very least, all in one wedding venues will generally provide an event coordinator to help you plan and manage your wedding.

You can also typically count on the services of other wedding professionals being included in your package, such as caterers and bartenders.

Of course, how much of that you get will depend upon the size of the venue and the amount of money you’re spending on the package.

However, the big upside is that, by bundling everything together and making only one payment, you avoid having to track down all these people yourself and negotiate separate agreements with each of them.

That saves you a lot of time, energy, and probably money.

5. Everyone Already Knows Each Other

If your venue is providing the staff for your wedding, you can be reasonably assured that they already all know each other or are at least familiar with the venue and how everything works.

Unless yours is the very first wedding any of them have done there (unlikely), they already have a pre-existing relationship with the venue owner/manager and the other staffers there.

Heck, even if they haven’t actually worked the venue before, they already have an arrangement with them to back part of your overall wedding package.

So you can generally expect that there won’t be any scheduling conflicts or major confusion between providers

If you were hiring all your own people separately, the chances of issues like that arising are higher.

Keep It Simple

We left out the “stupid” part of that phrase because there’s nothing stupid about keeping things simple.

Why complicate it when you don’t have to?

Is life not already complex and overwhelming enough?

Wouldn’t it be great to just relax and let other people handle everything for you for once?

Well, that’s what all in one wedding venues are for.

And on that note, we’ll close out this article.

We hope we’ve been able to help you out a bit, and we wish you the very best of luck!
